Essay Competition

An essay competition was organized by the Vidysagar Academy and West Bengal State University amongst the students of the University and its affiliated colleges. The topic was "Vidyasagar and Bengali Modernity". 359 scripts were received which were checked and marked by the esteemed faculty of The university and colleges. Commendation certificates and prizes were handed over to the first, second and third position holders by the Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge, the Department of School Education and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal at a program held at Rabindra Okakura Bhaban, Kolkata on March 25, 2025.
